THE BRIEF
The Retail Week Awards is the most prestigious Awards ceremony within the UK Retail Industry with over 1,750 of industry’s most influential individuals attending every year.
The Awards have been running for 12 years, and have grown to become an important and eagerly awaited event in the retail calendar. The 2009 event takes place at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in March 2009.
Retail Week, published by Emap Ltd, is the UK’s leading provider of retail industry news, top retail jobs, key retail market reports and data, from across the entire retail sector. It is the only place where you can get all of this essential information in one place.
To date the Retail Week Awards brand has depended solely on the Retail Week brand and it became clear that the event required a new brand image that fused the core Retail Week brand with an identity that reflected the real values and dynamcs of the event.
Alexander Rose Creative were commissioned to create the new brand identity and visual campaign for the 2009 event which spanned across all marketing collateral such as press adverts, email marketing communications, the official website and event literature and signage. The solutions were designed to maintain and strengthen the event’s current position within the Retail Industry and to build on recognition as the most anticipated event on the UK Retail Industry calendar that stands out way ahead of competitors.
